Dr. Ashok Mondal completed his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Calcutta in 2024, where he also served as a Research Fellow from 2017 to 2022. His research focuses on astrophysics, particularly star formation, utilizing advanced statistical methods, machine learning, and astrophysical simulations. At Haldia Institute of Technology, he teaches mathematics and actively contributes to academic events, serving on organizing committees such as ICEMC 2024, being a member of the Central Publication Committee, and acting as the first-year subject coordinator (Mathematics). Dr. Mondal has published several journal articles.
