I work in the area of Algebraic Coding Theory and Cryptography. My main interest lies in obtaining new codes both classical and quantum using the algebraic structures over alphabets which are Galois Fields or finite rings or a mixed alphabet. I was able to obtain many good classical and quantum codes. Prior to joining HIT in January 2024. I was a Postdoc(VS) in R.C. Bose Centre for Cryptology and Security, ISI Kolkata (2022-2023). Prior to that I completed my Ph.D. in Mathematics from Department of Mathematics at IIT Roorkee.
