About

Dr. Kamalika Nath is an Assistant Professor of Physics at the Haldia Institute of Technology, specializing in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics. After graduating with first-class honors for her BSc and MSc, she earned her PhD from IIT Kanpur, where she developed a strong foundation in material science and spent over five years mentoring undergraduates in the lab.
She expanded her expertise through a postdoctoral fellowship at the Max Planck Institute (MPINB-caesar) in Bonn, Germany. Her current research focuses on the synthesis and characterization of nanomagnetic materials and their interdisciplinary applications. Driven by a student-centric approach, Dr. Nath is passionate about bridging the gap between fundamental science and real-world innovation through research-led teaching and academic excellence.
