I am working in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Haldia Institute of Technology since February 2008. I have 17 years of technical experience in the Indian Air Force and 20 years of teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. I was awarded my PhD degree from Jadavpur University in April 2022.

I have published a total of nine research papers to date. My areas of interest include Optimization, Inventory Management, Supply Chain Management, and Transportation Engineering.

At present, I am teaching Strength of Materials, Internal Combustion Engines, Automobile Engineering, Machine Design, and Workshop Practice. I have also been serving as the Departmental Library In-Charge since June 2012.
