Banshidhari Samanta is a researcher and academician in Electrical Engineering, with expertise in Power Electronics, Electrical Machines, and Renewable Energy Systems. He completed his B.Tech from Haldia Institute of Technology in 2015 and M.Tech from Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College in 2017. He then worked as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) at IIT Bhubaneswar, gaining significant research experience. Since 2018, he has been serving as an Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering at Haldia Institute of Technology. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela. His research contributions include five conference publications, one book chapter, and two published patents, along with one patent under application. He is also a Co-Principal Investigator of a DST-funded research project worth ?19,20,000, reflecting his active involvement in sponsored research and innovation.
