Alpana Barman is an Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering with over 11 years of teaching experience. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at the National Institute of Technology, Durgapur. She holds an M.E in Power Electronics and Drives from Bengal Engineering and Science University , Shibpur. Her research interests include adaptive load frequency control, optimization algorithms, renewable energy integration, power system stability, and machine learning applications in power systems. She has published several research papers in reputed international conferences and journals, including Springer and IEEE, and is a co-inventor of two granted Indian patents in AI-based monitoring and healthcare technologies.
