Dr. Pinaki Pratim Acharjya earned his PhD in Computer Science in 2016 from the National Institute of Technology, Agartala, Tripura, India. He is currently serving as a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Haldia Institute of Technology, Haldia, West Bengal, India. He has over 17 years of teaching experience and more than 16 years of research experience across several AICTE-approved engineering institutions in India. He has made substantial academic contributions, with over a hundred research publications in reputed national and international journals, conferences, books (authored/edited), and book chapters. His research portfolio reflects a strong commitment to both theoretical advancement and practical applications. His current research interests include Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Blockchain Technology, Digital Image Processing, Computer Vision, and Artificial Intelligence. Alongside his research, he is deeply engaged in academic mentorship, guiding PhD scholars and supporting the development of emerging researchers in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Through his work, he continues to contribute significantly to the advancement of intelligent systems and emerging technologies.
