Hostel
Yes, HIT provides separate on-campus hostel facilities for boys and girls. The hostels are equipped with modern amenities including:

Student Life
Dress Code: HIT follows a formal dress code on campus during academic hours. Students are expected to wear decent, professional attire. Specific departmental or lab dress codes (e.g., safety gear) must be strictly followed.

Hostel Code of Conduct: Hostel residents must adhere to the institute's hostel rules, which include gate-closing timings, visitor policies, noise regulations, and proper use of common facilities. A complete rulebook is provided at the time of hostel admission.

Student Life
A minimum attendance of 75% is mandatory in each subject to be eligible for examinations, as per university regulations. Students falling below the required attendance may be detained from appearing in exams. Attendance is tracked on a per-subject basis and is available on the student portal.
