Subhabrata Barman is an Assistant Professor with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Haldia Institute of Technology, Haldia, West Bengal, India. He has more than 21 years of teaching and research experience. His research interests are in the field of Wireless Networks, Computational Intelligence, Remote Sensing and Geo-Informatics, Precision Agriculture, Parallel and Grid Computing. He has edited books published by IGI Global, Springer and has several publications in several national and international conferences and journals. Currently he is working in the area QoS issues and Energy Management in Wireless Adhoc and Sensor Networks. He is a Professional Member of CSI, IEEE, IACSIT, IAENG. He is also a reviewer of International Journal of Wireless Networks (Springer), IEEE Systems and IEEE Sensors.
