I completed my B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Chemistry from Jadavpur University and subsequently obtained my Ph.D. from Jadavpur University under the supervision of Prof. Tapas Chakraborty at the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS), Kolkata. My research focuses on the photophysical and photochemical behavior of bioactive molecules, particularly hydrogen/proton transfer dynamics and molecular cluster interactions, investigated using advanced spectroscopic and mass spectrometric techniques. I have developed expertise in laser-induced photoionization, time-of-flight mass spectrometry, ion mobility mass spectrometry coupled with HPLC, and several other spectroscopic methods. I have authored 15 research articles in peer-reviewed international journals. My academic distinctions include the University Medal and the Prof. M. N. Das Memorial Gold-Centered Silver Medal from Jadavpur University, the Best Poster Award at the National Symposium on Radiation and Photochemistry (2015), and the “Outstanding Paper” award in Chemical Sciences from the Department of Science & Technology and Biotechnology, Government of West Bengal.
