Oohini Samanta holds both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in English Literature from Presidency University, Kolkata. She is currently an Assistant Professor at Haldia Institute of Technology, where she teaches English Language and Technical Communication, Soft Skills, and Professional Ethics. Her primary research interests include Postcolonial Literature, Science Fiction and Fantasy Literature, Medical Humanities, and Gender Studies. She is particularly interested in interdisciplinary approaches that connect literature with society, ethics, health, and technology.
