Research interest of Dr. Dipanjana Hazra Nayak comprises Experimental Laser Plasma Electron Accelertion or broadly Accelerator Physics. Currently her research interest is extended towards theoretical laser plasma physics and PIC simulations.
After completing my M.Sc in Physics I have joined my PhD at Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology (RRCAT), Indore. India under Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI) in 2013. After completing my PhD in 2020, I have joined Variable Energy Accelerator Centre (VECC), Kolkata as a Research Associate in 2021. During the tenure of my research, I have attended many national and international conferences and have published in many international indexed journals. I have also received several national and international best poster and best thesis awards for my research.
After my post-doctoral experience, I have joined VIT Bhopal University, Bhopal in 2023 where I worked as an assistant professor of Physics. Currently, I am engaged as an assistant professor of Physics in the Department of Applied Science and Humanities at Haldia Institute of Technology (HIT), Haldia, West Bengal since 2025. I have overall 2 years of post-PhD research experience and almost 2.5 years of teaching experience.
