Sunanda Hazra received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering and is currently associated with the Department of Electrical Engineering at Haldia Institute of Technology, Haldia, West Bengal, India. He has over eleven years of teaching and research experience. He has published several research papers in international journals, conferences, book chapters and books. His research interests include load dispatch, hydro-thermal scheduling, renewable energy systems, and optimization techniques. He was awarded the young scientist award by VD good technology factory in 2021. He has acted as chief guest, delivered keynote addresses, and served as session chair at several technical programs. He has served as a reviewer for national and international journals and has actively attended and organized various short-term courses, symposiums and faculty development programs. He is a member of the Institution of Engineers (India).
