Dr. Radharani Das completed B.Tech, M.Tech, Ph. D in Chemical Engg. From University of Calcutta and Post Doc. from University of Turin, Italy and presently engaged as Dean (School of Chemical , Biotech and Food Technology) at Haldia Institute of Technology. She has published many papers in various national and international journals and conferences along with 6 book chapters. Received Gold Medal from Calcutta University in 2010. Best paper award-2000 and Certificate of Merit award -2008 from Institute of Engineers India (IEI) and “Teacher of the year Award” 2017 from West Bengal University of Technology . She is engaged as reviewer and editor of many international reputed Journals. She served as national council member of Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers , IIChE during 2012 and 2015-2017, also as Honorary Registrar in 2016. She is the founder secretary of Haldia Regional centre of IIChE. She has organised most prestigious , Chemical Engg Congress of IIChE , CHEMCON-17 as org. Secretary. She is actively engaged with various research work in the field of Ceramic Membranes, Environmental Science, Separation Process and Adsorption Process Technology
