Dr. Banibrata Bag is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering (Data Science) at Haldia Institute of Technology, West Bengal, with over 15 years of teaching and research experience. He received his B.E. in Computer Science & Engineering from Dr. B.C. Roy Engineering College in 2004, M. Tech. from Techno India, Salt Lake in 2009, Ph.D. from Jadavpur University in 2022, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Niigata University, Japan. His research interests include Wireless Communications, Free Space Optical Communication, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, and Machine Learning, with a current focus on AI/ML and deep learning applications.
