Dr. Biplab Das is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Haldia Institute of Technology, where he joined in 2025. He received his Ph.D. and M.Tech. degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), West Bengal, India. Prior to his current role, he served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Application and Information Technology at St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata. Dr. Das’s research interests span Quantum Computing, Quantum-dot Cellular Automata (QCA), and Reversible Logic Circuit Design. He has published approximately 13 research papers in reputed international journals and conferences. He also qualified the UGC-NET examination for Lectureship in Computer Applications in 2019.
