I am currently working as a Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Haldia Institute of Technology, Haldia, West Bengal, India. I am founder and managing partner at ORB Cleantech Inc delivering design, consultancy and training solution to Green hydrogen, CCUS and process engineering. I have extensive experience in academic leadership, research
development, and quality assurance, with roles at University of Melbourne, Australia; Curtin University, Malaysia; Qatar University, Qatar; DSCE, Bengaluru, including committee leadership and curriculum enhancement. I have proven track record in ABET, IChemE, NBA, NAAC, EAC, Engineers Australia accreditation, student mentorship, and driving academic excellence through strategic initiatives and institutional growth efforts. I have developed academic linkages with overseas universities. I earned M.Tech. & Ph.D in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and completed postdoctoral training at the University of Melbourne, Australia. Additionally, I have led energy and environment research clusters in Malaysia and secured 13 research grants from government agencies and industries.
