Dr. Tanushree Ghosh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Haldia Institute of Technology. She earned her B.Tech from Haldia Institute of Technology (WBUT) in 2006, followed by an M.Tech from NIT Durgapur in 2008, and a Ph.D. from NIT Durgapur in 2023. She is a member of IIChE and IEI.With over 17 years of teaching experience at Haldia Institute of Technology, Dr. Ghosh’s teaching focuses on mass transfer, heat transfer, and material and energy balance calculations. Her research centers on chemical engineering topics such as hydrodynamics, mass transfer, and adsorption kinetics for CO2 physisorption under dilute-phase pneumatic transport conditions.Dr. Ghosh has authored four journal publications and holds four published patents. She has been involved in research project submissions. She has delivered invited lecture and has more than 35 conference and seminar publications.
Committed to continuous professional development, she has completed numerous faculty development programs and short courses, including several NPTEL and IIT/IISc offerings on subjects such as Petroleum Technology, Membrane Technology, Flow Through Porous Media, Process Modeling in Membrane Separation, and Outcome-Based Pedagogic Principles.
