Dr. Meenakshi Dey is an experienced academic with more than eighteen years of service at the Haldia Institute of Technology. She earned her Ph.D. in English Literature from Vidyasagar University, Medinipur, and completed her Master’s from M.S. University, Baroda. A UGC-NET qualified scholar, she currently holds the position of Associate Professor of English. Beyond classroom teaching, she has led numerous professional training programs focused on soft skills and workplace performance. Her publications include articles in reputed national and international journals, as well as the edited volumes "Literature in the Age of Climate Crisis: An Ecocritical Approach" & "Beyond Surface: Reimagining Trauma in Literary Landscapes". She has also co-edited "Bridging Language & Technology: Effective Communication for Engineering & Management Professionals" and "Gender Equality in the Workplace: Challenges and Solutions". Her research and teaching interests include Modern British Drama, Indian Writing in English, Trauma Studies, Gender Studies, and Communicative English.
