Dr. Biplab Sinha Mahapatra is currently serving as an Associate Professor of Mathematics at the Haldia Institute of Technology, starting from September 2017. Dr. Mahapatra has made substantial contributions to academia via his research, teaching, and administrative positions at many universities in India. Dr. Mahapatra has authored several publications in esteemed journals such as "Journal of Intelligent and Fuzzy Systems", "Expert Systems With Applications", "Annals of Operations Research", "Computer & Intelligent Systems", and "Environment Development Sustainability". The research articles he has written include the study of reliability in fuzzy systems, the analysis of fault trees using intuitionistic fuzzy logic, the assessment of network reliability, modeling of uncertain multiple criteria decision making, and modeling of inventory. Dr. Mahapatra is now providing guidance to his students while they pursue their Ph.D. degrees, showcasing his dedication to fostering the development of future scholars.
