Gouri Das, M.A. (English), B.Ed., is an Assistant Professor of English at Haldia Institute of Technology, where she has been serving since 2010. Prior to joining Haldia Inststiute of Technology she also served as the faculty member of Mallabhum Institute of Technology, Bishnupur. She obtained her Master’s degree in English from Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University and her B.Ed. degree from KRD College.
She has conducted Employee Soft Skills Development Programmes for Indian Oil Corporation Limited,MCPI, Haldia etc. She is actively engaged in community-focused initiatives for communicative language and soft skills development, particularly among rural and socially backward children. She has authored articles and published papers in journals. Her areas of interest includes Communicative English; Soft Skills Development; Extension and Outreach Activities and Community Language Teaching etc.
