About GOLAM MORTUJA SARKAR

Dr. Golam Mortuja Sarkar is an Assistant Professor in the School of Applied Science & Humanities at Haldia Institute of Technology, West Bengal, India. He earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela (2018–2023), where his doctoral research focused on the stability analysis of boundary layer flows admitting multiple solutions. He completed his M.Sc. in Mathematics from NIT Durgapur (2015–2017) and his B.Sc. (Honours) in Mathematics from Balurghat College, Gour Banga University (2012–2015).

Research Interests
My research focuses on boundary layer flows admitting multiple solutionswith similarity equations derived using Lie group analysis and stability analysis to identify physically meaningful solutions. I also work on multiple regression analysisresponse surface methodologyand sensitivity analysis. CurrentlyI am exploring the application of PINNs and neural networks in fluid dynamics.
