Myself, Dr. Monal Dutta, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Haldia Institute of Technology, Haldia, West Bengal. I have completed my PhD in Chemical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur in the year of 2013 and M.Tech from IT (BHU), Varanasi in the year of 2007. I have twelve years of teaching experience and one year of industrial experience. My research expertise includes wastewater treatment, membrane separation processes, carbon capture and storage, and environmental sustainability. As an outcome of my academic research I have published twenty-six papers in various National and International journals of repute. I have thirty-six conference publications till date. My google scholar citation is 308 and an h-index of 10. I have chaired several technical sessions in various International Conferences. I have got “Top performing Mentor award” from NPTEL. I have received Best Oral Presentation award in the International Conference,” InDACON-2018, NIT Trichy.
