Dr. Sudip Das is an accomplished academic and researcher with over 15 years of research experience, including three years of postdoctoral research in the fields of Biochemistry and Biotechnology. He earned his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Kalyani (2003), following an M.Sc. in Biophysics (1996), a B.Ed. from Vidyasagar University (1992), and a B.Sc. (Honours) in Physics (1990). His research career includes prestigious projects funded by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), where he investigated cellular signal transduction, calcium regulation, and pulmonary vascular biology. Dr. Das joined the Department of Biotechnology at Haldia Institute of Technology in 2007 as a Lecturer and was subsequently promoted to Senior Lecturer, Assistant Professor, and Associate Professor in 2013. He is dedicated to advancing education and research in biochemistry, molecular biology, and biotechnology through excellence in teaching, research, and academic mentorship.
