Specializing in Bio materials and tissue Engineering, Dr. Chetan was awarded Doctorate in 2023 from Vellore Institute of Technology (an IoE, INDIA), Vellore, INDIA. He received his Bachelor of Technology Degree in Biotechnology from Sam Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences in 2015 and Master of Technology in Nano Science and Technology from Pondicherry University in 2017. He has successfully completed a DST-SERB sponsored Project as Junior Research Fellow under his Guide Dr. U. Vijayalakshmi in January 2020. Chetan"s core research interests include bio ceramics, nano composites, crystallography, bio active coatings, in vitro electrochemical corrosion, in vitro and in vivo bio compatibility studies and simulated body fluid evaluations. He is currently offering his services as Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology, Haldia Institute of Technology, Haldia, INDIA. He is engaged with Undergraduate and Post Graduate Engineering and Science students covering Theory and Practical sessions and Academic research with his team of scholars.
