Dr. Bikash Bepari earned his Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering in 1997 and his Master’s in Production Technology in 1999 both from Jadavpur University. He completed his Ph.D. in Engineering (Robotics) in 2006 under Professors Satyaranjan Deb and Subhasis Bhaumik from Jadavpur University.

Dr. Bikash Bepari is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Haldia Institute of Technology. Earlier he used to hold the position of Head Production Engineering and Dean, Students Welfare of Haldia Institute of Technology. He has published 65 research papers, guided three Ph.D. scholars, currently supervises two more, and authored twenty international book chapters.

He holds seven patents, has organized two TEQIP National Seminars and one AICTE-sponsored Faculty Development Programme. In 2008, he received the Production Division National Prize from The Institution of Engineers (India) and is a Fellow and former Convenor of its Production Engineering Division.
