Sourav Sarkar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Haldia Institute of Technology. He is pursuing PhD from NIT Silchar. His areas of expertise include production engineering, surface engineering, and materials processing, with research interests in composite coatings, tribology, and corrosion. He is actively involved in academic mentoring, student development, and placement-related activities, and regularly participates in faculty development programs to strengthen teaching and research excellence.
