Arpita Shome earned her Master of Engineering degree in IT-Software Engineering from Jadavpur University, India, in 2022. She received her Bachelor of Technology degree in Information Technology from the Academy of Technology, affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) in 2019. She has also qualified for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in Computer Science & Information Technology in 2020. She is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Technology at Haldia Institute of Technology. Previously, she served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at ABACUS Institute of Engineering and Management, Magra, West Bengal, India. She has over 3 years of teaching experience. She has published 4 patents and several research papers in conference proceedings, journals, and book chapters. Her research interests include Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Image Processing.
