Mr Goutam Das is an experienced academician and researcher in the field of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He holds a B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering and an M.Tech degree in Embedded Systems from Haldia Institute of Technology. Since 2008, he has been serving as an Assistant Professor at Haldia Institute of Technology, West Bengal, where he is actively involved in teaching, research, and academic administration. His areas of expertise include electrical machines, condition monitoring, fault diagnosis of induction motors, signal processing techniques, and artificial intelligence applications. He has published several research papers in reputed national and international journals and conferences and holds a patent in deep learning–based medical diagnostics. He is a professional member of IEEE and has also served as an examiner for WBSEDCL competency examinations.
