Biplab Bag received his Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Kalyani in 2021. He qualified the UGC-NET examination in 2014. He completed his M.Tech. degree from West Bengal University of Technology, West Bengal, in 2008, and his B.Tech. degree from the same university in 2006. He is presently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Haldia Institute of Technology (Autonomous), West Bengal, India. Prior to this, he worked for 14 years as an Assistant Professor at Murshidabad College of Engineering and Technology, contributing extensively to teaching, research, and academic development. His research interests focus on planar monopole antennas, MIMO, array antennas, and frequency selective surface (FSS)-based antenna design for modern wireless communication systems. He has published more than 28 papers in reputed peer-reviewed journals and conferences. His teaching interests include control systems, electromagnetic field theory, antenna theory, analog and digital communication, signals and systems, and analog electronics.
