Arpan Adhikary is an Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) at the Haldia Institute of Technology. He holds M.Tech and B.Tech from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), providing him with a robust foundation in Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT). He is also enrolled in the PhD program in IIEST Shibpur.
Adhikary is best known for his research on Eldo-care, a tele-healthcare system for the elderly, and his extensive studies on using machine learning for early disease detection, including Parkinson’s and Glaucoma. His expertise spans deep learning, IoT-based monitoring, and the use of Virtual Reality (VR) for mental health treatment. As an active academic, he has co-authored numerous papers and edited technical volumes such as Neural Rehab: Deep Learning in Healthcare Revitalization.
