About

I, Manjari Chakraborty, presently in School of Applied Sciences as Assistant Professor, Haldia Institute of Technology, Haldia. Previously, I have worked as a Senior Project Scientist at Central Research Facility under SATHI-DST project with IIT Delhi for two years wherein we facilitate the researchers, academician and industry startups with different data analysis and measurements. I completed my PhD from NISER Bhubaneswar under the supervision of Prof. Moloy Sarkar, School of Chemical Sciences, NISER.
Being from a research background on experimental spectroscopy, I have a keen interest in microscopy and spectroscopy related instrumentation like ultrafast fluorescence spectrophotometers, NMR, IR, SEM, TEM, XRD, XPS, AFM etc. I have expertise in handing different instruments which would aid in building collaboration with diverse verticals. I have gained expertise in characterisation and photophysical processes which ranges from steady state fluorescence to ultrafast fluorescence dynamics at femtosecond to nanosecond time range.
