Debanjan Das is an academic and researcher in Civil Engineering with a strong foundation in engineering education and applied research. He holds an M.Tech degree from NIT Agartala and is currently pursuing a PhD from Jadavpur University, focusing on advanced and sustainable engineering solutions. He is working as an Assistant Professor at Haldia Institute of Technology, where he is actively involved in teaching, mentoring undergraduate students, and curriculum development. A GATE-qualified professional, his academic interests include innovative construction materials, structural engineering, and sustainable infrastructure. He also has industry exposure through work in a construction laboratory at Durgapur Steel Plant. His long-term goal is to contribute meaningfully to higher education through quality teaching, impactful research, and interdisciplinary collaboration aimed at societal and technological advancement.
