Soumi Rajbanshi is an accomplished Structural Engineering professional with a strong academic background, holding a B.Tech in Civil Engineering, M.Tech in Structural Engineering from NIT Durgapur, and a PhD from IIT Guwahati. Her expertise spans seismic behaviour of RC structural walls, concrete confinement, vibration control, and advanced numerical modelling using ABAQUS, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, and MATLAB. She has contributed significantly through experimental research, structural detailing as per IS codes, and parametric analytical studies. Her achievements include multiple peer-reviewed and conference publications and active roles as a reviewer for ACI journals. Currently serving as Assistant Professor at Haldia Institute of Technology, she also engages in academic development through invited talks, workshops, and resource-person roles.
