Apurba Patra, currently working as an Assistant Professor at Haldia Institute of Technology have completed his M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the in-house campus of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), West Bengal. His academic and research interests include Blockchain Technology, Computer Networks, Operating Systems, Computer Organization and Architecture, DBMS, IoT, and Cyber and Network Security.
He qualified GATE in 2022 and 2023 and received Ph.D. offers from IIT Guwahati and IIT Dhanbad for the July 2025 session. , He remained actively engaged in research, with a journal publication in a reputed international journal on a blockchain-based secure and transparent e-voting system using smart contracts, and I also hold a copyright certificate for the same work.
