Mr. Susanta Banerjee is currently pursuing his PhD in the Department of Information Technology of IIEST, Shibpur, West Bengal. He earned his Master of Technology degree in Information Technology from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal, India, in 2023. He received his Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Durgapur Institute of Advanced Technology & Management, Rajbandh, Durgapur, affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology, in 2018. He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Technology at Haldia Institute of Technology. Prior to this, he was associated with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Techno India University, Kolkata ,West Bengal. Prior to academia, he gained over 1.5 years of experience in the industry. He has been recognized as an active member of the Computer Society of India(CSI) and IFERP. He has published 6 patents and several research papers in conference proceedings, journals, and book chapters. His research interests include Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Image Processing and Information Security.
