Dr. Dibyendu Chowdhury is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at Haldia Institute of Technology (HIT), Haldia, a NAAC-accredited autonomous engineering institute in West Bengal, India.
He joined HIT in February 2010 and has been actively engaged in teaching, research, and academic mentorship. Dr. Chowdhury earned his Ph.D. from the National Institute of Technology, Durgapur in 2024, and holds an M.Tech from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (formerly WBUT) and an M.Sc from Vidyasagar University.
His research interests include VLSI & soft computing, embedded systems, image processing, digital and analog electronics, microprocessors & microcontrollers, and IoT, and he has published numerous journal and conference papers in these areas.
Dr. Chowdhury is also recognized for his contributions to academic service and student development, including mentorship roles and participation in institutional activities.
