About

Dr. Tirthadip Sinha is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Haldia Institute of Technology, with over 17 years of teaching and 2 years of industry experience. He received his Ph.D. and M.E. degrees both in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Jadavpur University. His research interests span Internet of Things, Error Correcting Codes, Wireless Communication for 5G/6G Networks and Signal processing & Filter design. Dr. Sinha has authored more than 17 peer-reviewed publications in SCIE/Scopus-indexed international journals and conferences, 5 academic books, and holds 5 patents. He has led two AIoT research projects funded by IEI & IEEE, USA respectively and served as Program Chair and Session Chair for several international conferences. A recipient of multiple NPTEL and IIT Bombay recognitions, he is actively engaged in curriculum development and outcome-based education initiatives. Dr. Sinha is a life member of IEI, ISTE, SDIWC, IAENG, associate member of UACEE & IRED and member of IEEE IoT Technical Community & IEEE Sensors Council. He has been entrusted with key academic leadership roles, including coordinator and core member of the quality-assurance committees for NBA & NAAC visit. He has also served in significant administrative capacities such as Hostel Superintendent, Member of Anti-ragging Squad, Publication committee and SWC, reflecting institutional trust in his organizational and governance capabilities.
