Mr. Abhishek Naskar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Haldia Institute of Technology, West Bengal, where he has been serving since 2010. With over 16 years of teaching experience and prior industry exposure, he has been actively involved in undergraduate teaching, laboratory instruction, academic coordination, and student mentoring. He completed his Master of Engineering from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST) and his Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at the National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur, with research focused on geopolymer concrete and durability performance of sustainable cementitious materials under aggressive environmental conditions. His research interests include Transportation Engineering, geopolymer and alkali-activated materials, sustainable construction materials, and durability of advanced cementitious systems. He has presented papers in national and international conferences and holds a patent filed in the area of geopolymer concrete technology.
