Blockchain mining over IoT forms a new domain of research where each node functions as both a miner and a storage unit. The challenge is that IoT nodes have limited resources, while traditional blockchain mining requires a lot of resources. However, the collective power of IoT nodes can be used for realising mining at the edge, unlike traditional mining, which usually happens on powerful servers in the cloud or remote locations. Towards this, we focus on key aspects of block mining and storage over IoT through optimal assignment algorithms in this research
